Since 2011 Horizon have provided a team of Permit Issuers, Area Technicians and Commissioning Operators to commission Todd Energy’s two LPG processing and storage facilities.
The new gas production facility, located at the McKee & Mangahewa Production Station near Tikorangi, North Taranaki, will increase Todd Energy’s raw gas processing capacity from 20 petajoules per annum to 45 petajoules.
The new MET2 facility forms part of the Mangahewa Expansion Project, an $840 million development which also involves the drilling and hook-up of 27 wells in the Mangahewa permit area, and the construction of a nine kilometre corridor of pipelines connecting the wellsites to the production station and on to the Maui gas pipeline.
